At Aftermarq, our focus is video and we are continually striving to provide our clients with top notch talent and the most creative strategies available.
As we continue to grow, having a dedicated film team has become extremely important.
With that said, we are proud to announce that Nashville filmmaker, Blake Guidry, of Nashville, has joined the team. He officially joins the team on July 10th and will begin working on a project that films in Washington DC for SAP and the SBE Council.
“We’re very excited to have Blake Guidry join the Aftermarq team,” says founder, Amy Schmittauer. “His cinematography skillset is one that we find truly impressive.”
“I’m consistently amazed at Blake’s talent and passion for visual storytelling. Adding him to the team sets us on a different level for our clients, along with, our own work,” adds new creative director, Jason Yarborough, who worked with Guidry at Nashville social media firm, JumpCrew. “He truly brings a missing dynamic to the Aftermarq squad and I’m beyond thrilled to have him on our team and to be the mastermind behind the camera’s.”
Prior to joining Aftermarq, Guidry was a social media coordinator at JumpCrew where he created content and social media campaigns for clients. Prior to JumpCrew, Guidry studied new media at Middle Tennessee State University as well as cinematography from the Nashville Film Institute.
“Bringing a full-time filmmaker to the team proves our dedication to video now and video in the future of brand marketing and storytelling,” says CEO, Vincenzo Landino. “We talk about video-first, and now we put our money where our mouth is.”
Schmittauer stresses, “Although it may seem obvious that we would bring on a full-time filmmaker to a video-first agency, we are not the only type of organization that should consider such a move. The importance of video content today is far reaching and having someone in-house to capture those moments matters. The brands that last are the ones whose stories are told.”
